Established in 1853, Stand Cricket Club is your community cricket club on Hamilton Road in Whitefield. We’re a very friendly, social local sports club running 3 senior cricket teams and 5 junior age group teams.
A matter of minutes from the M60, you can hire our licensed function room perfect for Birthdays, Christenings, wakes and business networking.

Are you looking for a welcoming Whitefield venue for your party, christening, business networking event, wake or funeral?
Stand’s clubhouse is available for hire throughout the year, including a fully licensed bar, dance floor, overhead projection and catering can be provided.

A popular venue for 18th and 21st birthdays, we will ensure you have a fantastic family party in a lovely environment.
We can provide a fully managed party, with table decorations, catering and a DJ if required. We even provide security on the door.

Stand Cricket Club proudly support Stand Up To Breast Cancer and run a ladies day event and meal every summer in aid of this cause we hold close to our communities heart.

Coaches
Stand Cricket Club are proud to have a number of ECB Qualified coaches and former players who work with the all the teams from juniors through to seniors.
This level of commitment ensures we help everyone fulfil their potential to the fullest.
The Cricket Club
Here at Stand CC we are always on the lookout for new members and welcome players of all abilities who would like to get involved in a friendly, local cricket club. Senior Teams
Stand Cricket Club fields a total of three senior cricket teams on a regular basis throughout the summer. Our 1st and 2nd XIs play in the GMCL Saturday competitions with our 3rd XI playing in the GMCL Sunday competition.
Junior Cricket
Stand Juniors welcome all children from the age of 6 to 16 to join us. Our ethos is one of enjoyment and participation.
The Junior Eagles develop our younger players in the basics of the game, so that they are ready to represent the club in the GMCL Under 11s competition by the time they are in schools years 4, 5 and 6.
We also have teams competing in the GMCL league at U9s, U11s and U18s age groups.
Function Room
You can hire our clubhouse for a variety of functions. From a business networking event, team meeting, funeral, christening or family party, we can cater for upto 120 people. And don’t forget the views over the pitch!
