As you will all be aware, Greater Manchester is moving to Tier 3 of the Covid-19 lockdown measures as of 12.01am Friday 23rd October. As such, and regrettably we will have to close our bar and function room for the foreseeable future, despite our best attempts and investment to ensure everyone’s visit was a safe and enjoyable one.
We want to thanks all our community and club members who have supported us in the last few weeks and we have to say every penny really does help. Where we haven’t been as busy as hoped, it really does make a difference, and perhaps more importantly, it has been fantastic to see some new faces. When we do get through this, we do hope you will continue to pop down for a drink or more!
In the meantime, we will continue to try and keep Stand Cricket Club alive, and if you want to help, you can donate some of that cash you will have parted with over the bar, to our fundraiser – available here – The Struggle Continues.
We also have some 2021 calendars available for only £5 – all proceeds go to the club. If you wish to donate via the GoFundMe, please send a message afterwards and we can post them out for you, or arrange for them to be collected.
