With the end of the season fast approaching we have our last home game of the year when our 1st team take on Roe Green this Saturday (19th September). Start is at 12.30 and it’s forecast to be sunny! The bar will be open so get down if you can, enjoy the last of the summer sun, Whitefield’s largest beer garden and support us one final time. Social distancing measures and Track and Trace procedures will be in place.
Then next week, they are away at Astley & Tyldesley (weather and Covid-19 permitting). Our 2nd team are away at Edgworth this Sunday (20th September).
With a tough winter approaching, and the likelihood that we won’t be able to hold many functions, we really need your continued support, so we have decided to trial opening the clubhouse on Friday nights, and if these go well, Saturday evenings as well. It would be great to see you down here and help make sure we’re still here next spring. Non-members welcome so please share with your friends and family.
Junior presentation nights are being planned and will be announced in due course. The executive committee are also trying to come up with some fun social events, so watch this space.
