Conferences, birthday parties or events, we have the perfect venue in Whitefield to suit your needs
Stand Cricket Club hosts birthday parties, christenings, wedding receptions, and all other special occasions. Our large function room has the capacity for 120 party guests, with uninterrupted views across the cricket ground.
Function room hire prices start from £100 for non-members, with a £50 non-refundable deposit required to reserve the date. The club has a fully stocked licensed bar, with evening do’s starting at 7:30pm, and last orders called at midnight.
While we accept bookings for 18th birthday parties, a doorman is compulsory. This is an additional £80, payable in advance.
We have a full range of catering and decoration packages, including table and chair covers, sashes, balloons and banners. We welcome self-catering parties, too, with tables and plenty of space provided for you to set up.
Although we have no resident DJ, we can provide reliable contacts if required. You can arrange your own DJ, of course, but please leave no equipment on the premises overnight.
We cannot guarantee exclusive use of the clubhouse in the cricket season, as there could be a match on the same day. During this time, club members may use the bar and other facilities.
Our function room is available for hire during the daytime, too. It seats 60 when used as a conference venue or meeting room. We also take bookings for funeral wakes, private networking events, and local business groups.
