Our friends over at the NCA (based at Philips Park) have some good news for all those children who have not been able to access Bikeability Cycle Training at school due to COVID 19.
With more kids riding their bikes (which is fantastic), it’s important they have some basic road training.
Bury MBC have agreed to fund Bikeability training from a central venue during the school holidays. Aside from a £5 booking fee the training is FREE to access. Any child attending a Bury School who is in year 5 or above from September 2020 can access the training.
With active travel being widely encouraged and with children considering riding to school in September as well as using their bikes during the holidays it’s a good opportunity to access some basic training to help them on their way.
